Blackpool Community Legal Service Partnership
started in 2001. Membership includes the Council, the Legal Services
Commission, the Primary Care Trust, advice agencies, and representatives of
people who use advice and information agencies. The Partnership aim is for
a network of information, advice, advocacy and representation, which is
relevant and accessible to the varied needs of the people of Blackpool. It
is part of the national Community Legal Service.
The Partnership is about to publish a Strategic Plan for 2004 - 06. Its
purpose is to improve access to legal and advice services in Blackpool by
