Advice Link Network
The Network is a partnership of local advice providers including public, statutory,

not for profit and private practice organisations.

 

The aim of the network is: - ‘To maximise the provision of consistent, comprehensive, quality legal information and advice to enable individuals to fully access their opportunities, rights and entitlements.’

 

The Advice Link Network covers people using services within the boundary of Blackpool Council.


Aims of the Advice Link Network:

·         Promote accessible advice by organising events and campaigns

·         Promote and increase the take up of benefits, employment and services in order to maximise the income of those most in need;

·         Decrease deprivation and increase social inclusion

·         Promote opportunity and independence for all

·         Provide a forum for discussion for advice/legal information providers;

·         Provide a forum for dissemination of information;

·         Develop empowerment through education and awareness raising

·         Promote quality and sharing of good practice;

·         Exercise responsible influence on social policy through feedback on local need and provision to the Community Advice Strategy Group, Local Strategic Partnership, Funders and Partners.

·        Recognise the strengths of diversity and the importance of the four sectors
